Each of our trained technicians are licensed by the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation and will treat your property as if it is their own. It is our philosophy to use pesticides as sparingly as possible and only as needed in order to drastically reduce the amount of pesticide applied to your property, while still providing you with the quality of lawn you deserve with our standard 6 step program. Service

We pride ourselves on providing outstanding service. First, we will inspect your lawn and provide a complete written analysis of it's condition. Then, with your approval we will return to your home to make timely seasonal applications each designed to meet the needs of your lawn at that particular time of year. Any time you have questions or concerns we are a phone call away. SERVICE CALLS are always free and provided in 2 working days.

Questions, concerns and solutions to potential problems are just a phone call away. We will take the time to explain everything in as much detail as possible. This is the most important part of lawn care. With good 2-way communication you are sure to be a satisfied customer.

Quality Products

We use only the best products available. Granular slow release fertilizers and the highest quality control products available to the industry. This may cost us more initially but the results are worth it in the long run. All of the products we use are thoroughly researched, and tested products approved by the E.P.A. and N.Y.S. for use on Long Island.

Fertilizers

We use only slow release fertilizers with micro nutrients for enhanced performance on your lawn and to minimize nitrogen leaching into the soils.

Herbicides

We use 2,4-D free herbicides because of health concerns associated with such products.

Insecticides

We use Talstar brand insecticide (Pyrethroid based) which is based on the natural insecticide in the chrysanthemum plant. This product can be applied at very low rates with high efficiency.

Greenturf uses only the finest products available. We pledge to use pesticides responsibly, at the lowest rates and only when necessary as part of our standard 6 step program. Weeds are spot treated only as needed. Grubs are treated only as needed, and fungus problems are controlled through correct cultural recommendations and proper fertilization. We do all this in order to drastically reduce pesticide use. We ask that you use common sense when pesticides have been applied, thoroughly water in and allow to dry before utilizing your property. We are your neighbors, we live and work here and provide these services with our utmost respect for your property and the environment.
